A classic, a staple, a triedandtrue. As an American I've spent years doing an exhaustive and highly scientific! comparative study of British biscuits, and while there are some fun ones that may be more indulgent your chocolate Hobnobs or custard creams, say, for your standard, everyday biscuit, there's no beating McVities rich tea. Something about having a few packets on hand in the cupboard just makes you feel like you've got everything under control and the world will be alright. Very grateful to BCS for making these available to us nonexpat expats around the globe!

McVities rich tea biscuits are a delightful old favourite whilst it will never be up there with the best of the best choice of biscuits it is a good reliable day to day crunchy biscuit that can be enjoyed at any time no creams or chocolate just a good honest to goodness crunchy snack that dunks very well in your choice of beverage!! give them a try

What is a cup of tea without a Rich Tea Biscuit to dunk. I find the three-second dunk is perfect. So glad I can get one of my favourite biscuits from British Corner Shop. My last order contained four packets of Rich Tea and due to the excellent packing, not ONE biscuit was broken. Whenever I buy biscuits from my local grocers there are several broken. Will always include these in my future orders.

McVities Rich Tea biscuits are a timeless British classic. They are crisp, crunchy and lightly sweet with fewer calories than their competitors. Of course, these biscuits are perfect to eat along with a cup of hot tea. They are great plain or with a layer of your favorite jam or clotted cream. Being so light, you can indulge in several biscuits at once.

I've been in Germany Since 1981 in The Military and since 1994 as a Civvy I have had these biscuits on and off over the years and since the Military is leaving Germany and has very thin on the ground over the last 10 years I have not all had the opportunity to buy these Great Plain Biscuits, but I always come back to them there are not too sweet and you can dunk them for a few seconds longer than other Biscuits before they end up in your coffee or Tea...! They are are good value for money even though they have to be export and the last delivery was very well packed each packet individually packed in bubble wrap so as to minimalize broken Biscuits in the packet. Yummy...!

Coming from Yorkshire, dunking McVitie's Rich Teas was an essential part of growing up!. I was so pleased when I recently got my hands on a packet again but, shortly after opening them, I was sorely disappointed. The biscuits were like eating cardboard tasteless and dry... there was nothing rich about them at all and dunking them only gave them a texture which I can only describe as foamy. I really thought that I must have come across an out of date packet but, no, that wasn't it! Has McVitie's changed the recipe over the years?! Whatever it is that has changed, they were revolting and I won't be buying them again.

Believe it or not, I dunk these biscuit in my orange juice in the mornings. It reminds me of juice and biscuits for my afternoon snack at school!

Compared to other brands, these Mcvities rich tea biscuits have really low saturated fat content and no palm oil, so they come very close to healthy as far as biscuits go. Tasty light biscuits. Not too sweet. Excellent for dunking in you afternoon cup of black tea. Definitely a winner for me.

These are my favourite biscuits of all time! I buy them all the time from the local grocery store. The only problem is that they don't last very long in my house. I love munching on one with a cup of tea. Word of warning though.. they are very addicting! You can't eat just one!

I remember these delightful biscuits from years ago. Though they taste good straight from the package I do indulge and like mine spread with cold butter, I like to sandwich two of them together and enjoy with my coffee.

They also taste good if you dunk them in coffee, not buttered in this case.

This is another product which has the same authentic taste of years ago. McVities definitely make a great range of biscuits and this is one of their best! It has a very simple but classic flavour and is not complicated by strong tastes. It goes great with a nice cup of tea.

Rich Tea Biscuits are definitely biscuits to have with a cup of tea, plain and simple. great with clotted cream and jam. Glad I ordered several packets as they have a long lasting date, a good biscuit to offer a neighbour. Rich tea biscuits are memories of childhood in London in the 70s.

Perfect biscuits to have with a nice hot cup of tea ... also yummy sandwiched with vanilla ice-cream. The biscuits travelled really well all the way to Australia - thrilled also to see the long use by date so next time I can bulk buy knowing they will keep well in the pantry ... that's if they don't get quickly gobbled up at afternoon tea time.

I have to say I found Mc'Vities rich tea biscuits not very rich and bland. I don't dip my biscuits in tea but have them on the side, so I really needed the tea to quench my thirst after eating those dry biscuits.

There are much better brands on the market.

A simple classic, these are loved by many people, and for good reason. Rich Tea Biscuits have a great taste, and because they are basic they go great with a cup of tea.

Personally I'm always sure to have plenty of these in the cupboards to have with my tea, and I would recommend anyone else do the same.

If you love a cup of tea (or a brew as some folk call it) and love something to dip in there then these biscuits are for you.

McVities Rich Tea Biscuits have been a firm favourite and market leader in these dunking biscuits for a long time and will continue to be for years to come due to the quality of this product.

Just don't leave it in your tea for too long, it may not survive!

These are the only biscuits that I like to dunk in my tea. As the slogan goes "A drinks too wet without one"! They have the ideal consistency for a dunking biscuit: crunchy but not crumbly. I don't like finding bits in my drink towards the end. They're also surprisingly nice with cream cheese.

Classic unbeatable tea biscuits. With all the chocolate varieties and fancy things that we have today, McVities Rich Tea are not people's first choice, but once you've tasted them again after years like I did, you'll remember why they are still around now. A simple, light biscuit that is a real compliment to tea. Good value and as deliciously crisp as ever.
