Laurel and Hardy , Abbott and Costello Fruit and shortcake they are all fantastic partners!! The first two are well gone but in McVities fruit shortcake they are still available thankfully due to BCS!!!! A great tasting shortcake biscuit packed with dried fruit that tastes delicious on its own but even better dunked in a cuppa!! soon as you've eaten one then you can have a second!! great tasting treat

My new favorite biscuit! McVities Fruit Shortcake biscuits are good alone, with a cup of tea, coffee or crumbled up and added to freshly baked cakes. The biscuits are the perfect texture, not too crumbly or too soft. I highly recommend these tasty treats. You will not be disappointed!

I got these for my Mum. She loves them. We can occasionally find them here in the US. She likes them more than the flat Garibaldi fruit ones from Crawford. She enjoys them with her tea when she is not in the mood for chocolate. Really? McVities have great biscuits across the board. Always a good bet.

This takes me back to my childhood. Crunchy shortbread with an ample amount of raisins. These make a great, light snack and are a great accompaniment with coffee, tea or beverage of choice. The pack comes with plenty to share with the family. I can easily finish off half the pack myself though.

Not disappointed with these. They are excellent. I adore shortbread and the combination of shortbread and currants is gorgous. I, unlike the other reviewer, do dunk these biscuits in tea and adore them this way. The only problem I have is that once I start a packet I find it difficult to stop and not eat the lot.

McVities fruit shortcake biscuits are a great tasting biscuit, they are loaded with currants and are quite crunchy. I am ashamed to admit how many of these delightful treats I can devour at once!
As an added bonus, these biscuits are not at all expensive which may not be a great thing as it means I will certainly order more in the future.

I am a big fan of fruit biscuits, especially if they are super buttery like shortbreads or shortcakes. I did not know of McVities Fruit shortcake until recently and I was very happy with my purchase. The shortcake is firm yet crumbles in your mouth and the biscuits are packed with real pieces of currant.

Recently I have taken to these again. I had not had them for a long time and so I thought I would try them again. I really like the combination of the biscuit with the currant but feel that the biscuit is far too dry. If it was a bit more moist, it would be so much better.

Excellent thin shortcake with the addition of currants, make McVities Fruit Shortcake a lovely snack biscuit. I can't say they are a dunking biscuit because I don't think the fruit goes very well with either tea or coffee, but nice just the same as an accompaniment to your beverage. Plenty of biscuits in a pack and good value for money too.

I never knew I had so many favourites until I saw these. The only biscuit that have sat and eaten at least a whole pack just to myself. That was years back, but I'm sure could do it again. Morish, sweet with juicy currants, this biscuit is delicious and good value for money.
