Maynards Wine Gums are one of Britain’s most recognisable sweets. First launched by Charles Gordon Maynard in 1909, these chewy treats come in a selection of flavours including strawberry, orange and blackcurrant.
Wine gums were originally made using fermented wine - hence the name. Please note, however, that this manufacturing process is no longer used and Maynards Wine Gums do not contain any wine at all!

My husband is from England and sometimes he misses home a bit, I ended up finding this place and order in bulk. The wine gums are one of his favorites and he has been trying to eat them sparingly so he doesn't run out so quick. Ill definitely continue ordering these from here when I can. Also, note that if you order during the hot weather that these might melt a bit, so try ordering when its cooler!

without a doubt Maynards Wine gums have been a favourite of mine since I was a small boy I still eat far too many I'm afraid even though I am no longer a small boy, the whole family love them soft and chewy tasty and fruity gums so we always have extra around the house the best way to enjoy them is watching a good film and tuck into wine gums!!

Wine Gums are a true British classic when it comes to sweets and are very well known. The bite-size sweets are chewy, yet soft, giving it a unique texture. The flavors are all-natural, which makes the candy even tastier with amazing flavors like strawberry, orange, blackcurrant, lemon and lime. It is hard to find natural flavored candy here in the States, so I am thankful for Wine Gums.

Everybody who likes wine gums should try these. Forget Haribo. These are much tastier and also the texture is more pleasant to chew. They do not get hard and too sticky to chew after opening but stay just right. You can enjoy them without worrying about your next dentist appointment. And the flavour tastes more natural than the other wine gums. I only wish there were more flavours to select from. Like my favourite pina colada flavour or pure coconut - nonetheless, despite that, these are the best!

I've already converted many in the US to these. There is NOTHING in the world that compares to the flavour intensity and chewy texture of Maynards Wine Gums. Miss these terribly from the UK, but THANK YOU BCS for making these easily accessible for this humble addict.

These are by far the best wine gums available on the market, and it is great to see them here at BCS! The flavours are classic and very natural compared with other brands. The texture is also just right, a perfect balance between soft and chewy. A delight to have "on hand" at any time of the day or as a special treat!

An absolute classic. Often copied, but nobody else Comes Close. Different colour, different flavour - that's how it should be. You can taste the fact that natural flavours are used - These wonderful Sweets don't have that weird, chemical aftertaste that some of the copies have. A delight at any time of day. :-)
