I found the tin of Napolina Five Bean Salad to have a good ratio of beans, although a bit more sweetcorn would have been nice, The only real downside for me is that there is too much garlic, and not enough vinegar. The best part of a bean salad for me is plenty of vinegar, which unfortunately is lacking.

I like this mix of beans and I have not found anything similar in France. I wash the fluid from the beans and add spices and other ingredients to make vegetarian burgers. The good thing is that the burgers freeze well, so when my husband is having a meaty meal I can just get one from the freezer and fry from frozen. Lots of mayo and salad makes a very tasty meal - that is why I have reordered!

I wasn't as keen on this as I thought I would be. I usually make my own bean salad and add oil, vinegar, onion and fresh coriander, but this one had an unbalanced selection of beans (too many black eyed beans and not many kidney beans) and the liquid didn't taste very nice.
