My wife has always been fascinated by everything England and although she married a Brit she very much loves all things UK. I bought this umbrella as a tree gift just for fun thinking it would be a throw away item, however, the umbrella itself is very sturdy in construction and the union jack design itself is very striking. My wife loves this brolly and it is certainly worth the money.

Love this patriotic umbrella. It is not at all expensive and certainly makes a statement.
When my daughter was about to be 21 years old I asked what gift she might like, she asked that she and I return to Britain for a vacation as I had taken her and her two brothers the year before for the first time.
We arrived in Blackpool, ( her favourite place ) to torrential rain,
she bought an umbrella like this one, we were still getting very wet and laughing hysterically.
A police car stopped and the policemen told us he would take us to our B&B, we gratefully accepted. My daughter said "We never get rain like this in Canada".
"You get snow - at least we don't have to shovel this." He replied with typical British wit.

Use this in the country you're living/working in, and you'll definitely be noticed in a crowd! Very bright coloured, Union Jack lightweight umbrella. Not the best thing to have on a very windy day, but okay for those light, unexpected showers. Great to keep in your bag or in the car.

England is a country that has got a fair bit of rain. I remember this kind of umbrella with union jack design from the market stalls when we visited UK and I didn't get it for some reason.
Now I can see it again. Nice mix of colors for a rainy day.

I really thought about this before I added it to the shopping basket. I hate it when the Union Jack is printed wrong - as is often the case - and it is not possible to see from the picture whether the flag is correct. However, I took a chance and ordered. The umbrella is very lightweight - I wouldn't use it on a windy day - but then it was also very reasonably-priced. The Union Jack is correct (happy me :-) ) and the telescopic mechanism works fine. For the money, a good item.
