Product reviews
This is certainly not the cheapest marmalade but it is a fantastic quality product packed with flavor. My grandmother always made marmalade and jams and pretty much everything: and this is very close to that taste of homemade. I just love it on toast or even a marmalade sandwich and it is just the best and a very British taste.
Wonderful, thick cut not too sweet, definitely a marmalade for adults, I doubt very much if children will enjoy it, I certainly wouldn't have, as a child we always had Golden Shred which I still like, but this is like going from blended whisky to a single malt but without the price increase.
Excellent product at a reasonable price.
On the radio this morning they reported the trend to "americanise" the English language. A word that is at risk is "marmalade" which apparently is to be called "orange jam"! By whatever name it is called, Frank Coopers Vintage Orange Marmalade is excellent with coarse pieces of rind in a strongly flavoured orange sauce. Americans may ruin the English language but they cannot spoil our marmalade
This is what you need for a classy breakfast! Every time I think of marmalade I remember reading that at Buckingham Palace the cooks make fresh marmalade every morning. Well this is the next best thing. The tangy taste of bitter oranges is a perfect contrast to the sweetness of melted butter on hot toast. Gorgeous!
It's really very delicious for fresh toast. My son love it so much he want for indian bread also. We love it.
Excellent quality.
Thank you
Personally, I find anything by Frank Cooper to be a winner from the word go. I always try and have a jar of this in my kitchen at any one time, and soon make a point of replenishing whenever I run out! There's nothing quite like this marmalade, if you ask me; it's a really unique taste and has a texture all of its own as well. Anyone who wants to feel British need do nothing more than spread a helping of this on their toast in the morning.
Frank Cooper's marmalade is delicious for breakfast and a great start to the day, perfect as a snack during the day or even the end of the day as a supper time treat! The superior flavor, texture and quality is the perfect compliment on thickly toasted soft bread. I love it.
