I have bought Robertsons Ma Made many times over the years. It is great to have in your store cupboard. I make about 8 jars with it each time. I have added different flavours to it sometimes, just to have a variety of flavour. I have added Cointreau before, Whisky, I have even added Vodka !! Not sure which one I preferred, they were all lovely !!

This is a great way to make British-style marmalade with minimum fuss. As the tin says, it takes 30 minutes from start to finish and you have perfectly set marmalade ready to put in jars.

This takes me back to my childhood days when my mother used it to make marmalade! It's a great idea for making delicious marmalade without the fuss and bother of preparing fresh oranges. The price also makes it ideal. and to top it all, of course, it is easy to store till you are ready to use it.

5 starsDiane from Canada on

I love this product and use it often. It is easy to prepare and has a sweet orange taste without too much peel. I make 6 large jars from it and all you add is sugar and water, boil and add to the jars. I wish you would stock the lemon Mamade too!

5 starsRandi from Norway on

Hartleys Prepared Oranges Thin Cut are a godsend! I was spoiled, growing up, with the delicious orange marmalade which my mother brought to the table. I wanted to make it myself but could not get hold of Seville oranges, having moved to Norway. It's also extremely convenient to save all that work - and the result is very satisfying.

I have bought and used this particular product on more than one occasion and found it to be excellent, especially in regard to value for money. I'm a bit of a marmalade fusspot and was sceptical at first, but having tried it I was soon convinced. It's really simple to use.

For those of you who like to temper the sweetness of your marmalade this is ideal as a quick make your own marmalade. Easy and quick to prepare, makes up to 6 jars of marmalade ready for those long morning breakfasts. For a little change why not add a little cointreau to make it even better.
