It was a bit disappointing when I tried Heinz Salad Cream Extra Light 70 Less Fat. Although it was expected that the taste would be different than the original salad cream, I found this to be artificially sweet because of the added sweetener. Otherwise it has a creamy consistency with the distinct vinegar flavour which is good. I will probably purchase the original salad cream next time, and use less to keep the calorie count down.

There is no better salad dressing than Heinz salad cream, apart from maybe freshly made vinaigrette. I like the fact that this product is in a squeezy top down bottle, makes for less mess and the produc remains fresher for longer. It also has 70 less fat, which is not negligible for people who watch their weight.

I love Heinz' original Salad Cream but let's face it... there are a lot of calories in just one tablespoon of it and hands up all those who stop at one tablespoon? I was particularly pleased to find the same taste and quality in Heinz Extra Light Salad Cream, with 70% less fat! Incredible. I can binge with 'salad' as much as I want to now. Plus it's a lush sandwich filler too. The same squeezy bottle as the original makes it easy to store and safer on it's journey to you!
