For some reason the US version uses soy instead of rapeseed, not sure why they would add a common allergen if avoidable. Going to order this version out of curiosity to see if it tastes the same. I'm hoping it does and then I can get one more soylaced product out of my cupboard.

Hellmans Real Mayonnaise is a truly delicious product. It may be so that it has a lot more calories than, for example, the Lighter than Light version which is also an excellent product. However, the taste is far superior to any other mayonnaise that I have ever tasted. It's a real treat!

Here in Canada this product is widely available and I am never without it. I add a little to my scrambled eggs before cooking them along with some chives. I also like a very popular sandwich here that is toast with mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato and bacon, truly a taste sensation in every bite. It also works very well when making egg salad, potato salad, or tuna salad. It has a rich and creamy taste.
