This extra mild marinade is a zesty blend of onion, lemon, garlic and African Bird's Eye Chilli, and can also be used to marinate fish, beef or lamb.
To get the most from this marinade, use at least half the bottle per 500g of your chosen meat and marinate overnight in an airtight container. Cook on the grill or on the BBQ for an added smoky flavour.

Nandos Lemon & Herb Peri Peri Marinade for Chicken makes for a tasty chicken dish. It is far from as spicy as I had expected but provides a perfectly agreeable flavour to the meal. It is low in calories so when used to marinate lean chicken breasts the result is very healthy.

I used this marinade with chicken fillets. the smell was not really inviting but after a full day in the fridge, the flavour was mild to say the least. Herbs! ah, a touch of parsley and a hint of coriander, not really going overboard there are they. If you like mildly spiced and easy on the lemon, this is for you.
