I really like this floral candy! Good flavour, but not overpowering. The candies are round discs sort of like necco candies you can get in America, except a bit thicker. They are hard but not brittle, so as to be very hard on your teeth. They are a new favourite candy of mine!!!

These are perhaps the worst sweets ever, my opinion of course. I find it strange that anyone would eat something that smells and tastes like an elderly lady's perfume. It's a bit like having a mothball flavoured gob stopper! Never liked them 40 years ago and I certainly don't miss these living abroad. That said, if you like your sweets to taste like your munching through a flower bed, these are the originals, go for it!

Amazing sweets, always loved the original Parma Violets and then the giant ones were released. Always loved the taste and the challenge of seeing how many I could get in my mouth at any one time. Needless to say after the giants were released "Challenge Accepted". Nothing makes me more satisfied to know that a whole roll will fit, if you just make the effort

Do you like a chalky texture that taste like flowers? I do and that is why I am giving these sweets 4 stars.

They are packaged so you can see exactly what you are getting yourself into and there are no false pretenses.

They are the marmite of the candy world. You will love them or hate them.

I have recently bought a bag of mixed retro candies for Halloween and discovered Parma violets. My partner told me they were disgusting but that I would probably love them. He was right, they have become my new favorite sweets and I cant wait to buy more as I ate my stock already.

I'm one of those 'strange' people who love Parma Violets. I can understand why some don't like them, though, if they associate the aroma with perfume. The taste is very characteristic and can't be compared with anything else. If you've never had them they're worth trying. Until you do you'll never know whether you're one of the 'love 'em' or 'hate 'em'.

To me these are the worst sweets ever made, but I know a lot of people like them. Similar to love hearts in that they're small discs of chalky sugar, but different in that these have a very strong and "distinctive" flavour. The flavour is best described as old lady perfume, it's so florally that just the smell is enough to make me pull a strange face.
