we adore this curry paste and have used it since the 1980s. I have tried making my own curry powder from scratch....with seeds etc not even just ground spices...lots of hard work and very hit and miss. This has a wonderful heat and flavour although we noticed that it changed a couple of years ago when they messed with the recipe. But it's still a brilliant paste and we love it, can't get it here.

This paste from Pataks comes with the warning...four little chillis on the jar! So if you are not a lover of hot spicy food, I don't think you can handle it.
Even if you use a small amount, the spice and heat is there and it's burning.
Very strong taste, most authentic curry I have had in a long time.
