Baxters Country Garden Soup is one of my favorite comfort foods. The variety of vegetables in this soup is plentiful and flavorful. It is wholesome and warms your entire body, especially on a chilly day. There is nothing better than a bowl of this hot soup with some bread on the side. With one serving of vegetables a day per serving, you can be sure of consuming a nutritious meal.

Baxters do make great soups with that undeniable home made taste and flavour. We would have this soup before our fish and chips on Good Friday. ( The children and myself being Roman Catholic we had to abstain from meat consumption on this day).
My husband - though not Roman Catholic - respected this fact and ate the same meal that we enjoyed.
We had an agreement; I fed the family but he had to feed our adorable dog. We had only had her about six months when Easter came around, we would feed her dry dog food with cut up ham mixed into it.
My husband paused at the refrigerator door and asked in all sincerity, "Is the dog Catholic or does she still get her ham?".
I laughed so hard I had tears rolling down my face!
