I grew up eating turnips that my grandmother cooked. Since parsnips are similar I decided to try this soup. It was delicious, not too spicy, so I could taste the parsnips. I will definitely get more of this!

Really good and tasty. We used to make our own curried parsnip soup, but it's hard to find parsnips in this part of Italy because the climate is too warm. They know all about them in the north, but some of the locals here don't even know what they are! This Baxter's version is a grand substitute and it's on our regular list to order. Give it a try it's delicious.

I decided to try Baxters spicy parsnip soup as I had been sending some soups to my mother in law in the UK when she was ill and chose Baxters for her as they seemed to be the most natural and nutritious and she said how tasty the parsnip was. She was right. I love the taste of roasted parsnips and this soup has to be the best parsnip soup I've tried and I've probably tried 56 different ones. The creamy consistency can't be beaten. I'll be back for more.

Baxter's tinned soups are a great cupboard standby for winter meals. This spicy parsnip variety is delicious and tastes just about as good as home made. It is great to see it available on British Corner Shop as parsnips are almost impossible to find here. It is also good to see that it is suitable for vegetarians.

Baxters soups are really tasty and you would think that they were home made. I buy this soup frequently and enjoy it a lot. I generally make it for my lunch with a sandwich.
Parsnips remind me of my brother, we went on a cruise and as the waiter served us my brother thought he was putting chips on our plates, so he motioned for more. As he started to eat he realized that they were indeed parsnips, which he hated. My sister-in-law told him off and said he would have to eat them as it he had requested more. He got out his clean white handkerchief and put the offending vegetables in his pocket.
We finished our meal and as we got to the door the ships Captain was in the doorway, my brother felt a sneeze coming on, grabbing his handkerchief he showered the unsuspecting Captain with a pile of mushy parsnips!
His wife was livid but my mum and I got a fit of the giggles. We never did get to dine at the Captain's table.
