Not many pineapple jams to compare this item with but speak as i find and with Hartleys best pineapple jam you get a very fresh tangy pineapple jam with lots of fruit pieces that give off a great taste and texture goes superbly well on toast or my own favourite crumpets or even fresh muffins!! i have also used it in cake baking and it adds that little extra bite!!!

Pineapple jam or preserve is very hard to find where I am and I absolutely love pineapple in general. I sure am glad I found some on here as I like to try a new kind of jam to go along with my toast or pancakes in the mornings. The jam is sweet, tangy, very tasty and is loaded with pieces of fresh, real pineapple. My family is a huge fan of pineapple and they sure love the jam.

I have to admit pineapple jam is not something you see everyday but it is a shame as it is delicious! I have never seen any other brand do it but why try something new when you have the real deal here? It is very tangy and refreshing and, as usual with Hartleys, it is packed with fruit pieces.

Hartleys Best Pineapple Jam slots into the category of "good but".
The jam is tasty and a good spreadable texture with enough small solid pieces.
However, I found it over sweet and the sugar masked the natural sharpness of the pineapple.
I probably won't buy again as there are jams from the Azores that I can buy which have a better blend of sweetness and acidity.

Whenever I eat toast for breakfast, I do like fruity jams or marmalade to put on it. Hartleys Pineapple Jam is one of my favourites for this purpose. It tastes natural, not at all too sweet and it spreads easily on my toast.
In many other countries, pineapple jam is not available in supermarkets. Therefore I always buy Hartleys jam from the UK.
