I am a bit of a snob when it comes to jams, I usually favour high-end brands with a higher real fruit content. Hartleys best strawberry jam did the job perfectly and was unexpectedly fruity, but it won't be my go to brand as I found the taste quite artificial and overly sweet. This is a great product for kids though!

This jam is really good as are all Hartley's jams. If you like lots of fruit in your jam, this one is for you. Years ago, my mum would layer her sponges together with this jam, it was a firm favourite. It is also lovely on scones or toast. A jar does not last very long in our house, it reminds me of my grandmother's home made preserves.

I have always liked strawberry jam. Hartleys Best Strawberry Jam is good. I like to spread it on my toast and scones. Sometimes I make a glaze to put on cakes. I found Hartleys Best Strawberry Jam to be not too sweet. Thank you British Corner Shop for this good jam.

The taste is good, but be warned, it's not just bits of strawberries but the whole intact fruit.
My view is that if I want strawberries then I'll buy strawberries.
This is so hard to spread on toast, and my family spend most of the time trying to scrape out the jam without the fruit.
I'll stick with the smooth type next time.

This has got to be the fruitiest jam I have ever tasted. I've tried others but nothing can compare. I've tried different Hartleys flavours too but always find myself coming back to strawberry. It doesn't look too synthetic or artificial. Its a fave in my home for many years now.
