what a devine invention a squeezy bottle of Lyles golden syrup so you can use exactly the correct amount as when i used to ust it from the green tin i was always sticking the spoon in the pot and licking it but dare i say you only need a small amount as the delicous product is extremely swet so beware!! ideal in many types of cooking drizzled on toast or even as a topping for ice cream

I love Lyles Golden Syrup as an alternative to maple syrup which is hugely popular in the United States. I really wish we had golden syrup here where I live, but at least I know where to find some now. I like adding this tasty, sweet, thick syrup to my pancakes, breakfast waffles, and desserts, especially cake. It is a real hit with the kids, so this syrup is a must have in our pantry.

The new squeezy bottle really makes this easy to use, before with the good old green tins I used to get into a real mess but no more. Lyles Golden Syrup seems not to be available in my country so I am pleased that I can use the British Corner Shop to get this stand by that I would not be without. I am a great baker so need it for lots of things and now it's squeezy I am more than happy.

Lyles Golden Syrup Squeezey bottle is a very convenient packaging solution. Although there are many different Golden Syrups to be bought, none of them come anywhere close to the flavour of Lyles Golden Syrup. When making biscuits a surprisingly small amount produces a biscuit with a delicious and unique taste.

This bottle is a great improvement on packaging: it's easy to hold even for children and great if you're going to pour golden syrup on your dessert, whereas the classic tin is beautiful to look at but more difficult to open and use. I like to use golden syrup on toast and ice cream especially, but it goes with practically everything :) The bottle has great suggestions for usage as well!

Easy to use, less mess and more practical, Lyles Golden Syrup Squeezy is excellent. Perfect for squeezing on to pancakes or desserts, no fuss or mess, and also for dosing directly onto a warm spoon and into your batters or cake mixes. That said, I beg LYLES not to ever get rid of their beautiful, original tinned Golden Syrup... so beautiful and classic, it would be such a shame!

No, it is not in the famous tin that I always think of when thinking about Golden Syrup but it is still a great product and now even easier to measure without having to get drips on the side or dirtying a spoon unnecessarily.

It you usually buy you Syrup in a tin this squeezy bottle will be a welcome change.

For the Christmas baking etc I seem to have been using a lot of golden syrup measured out in tablespoons. Delia gives advice on warming the tins to do this and someone else, Mary Berry I think, suggests putting a trace of butter or oil on the spoon so it does not stick.

Using this latter suggestion with this squeezy bottle takes all the guesswork and mess out of measuring the syrup. I wish they would do the same for the black treacle. Nothing beats the taste of Lyle's Golden Syrup even Heston could not match or beat it when he tried.
