These are a great addition to Mexican food, but they are also a fantastic spicy kick with pretty much anything if you like to liven up your plate. Old El Paso certainly make a good quality product and the contents keep well in the fridge once opened - if they last that long!

Green jalapenos are a must for tortillas. Although it says hot on the package, these are not very hot if you are any used to spices.
However, they add a lot of good taste to your tortillas and should definitely be used any time possible.
When making tortillas or tacos, the good thing is anyone can build up their own tortilla, and if someone doesn't like these, he simply skips them.

Sliced green jalapenos are a product I always have in my cupboard as I am a real fan of Mexican food.
I usually use them in the preparation of my fajita sauce but I also love to have them with nachos and hot cheese sauce, the creaminess of the cheese and the heat of the jalapenos really compliment each other.
