The best mango chutney ever tasted. I am so happy to find some on this site. Before, I use to buy some in France but they stop to sell it. I eat it with a curry or for an apritif because it's perfect with the walkers poppadoms sensations. All my guests who tried it were delighted.

Definitely our preferred mango chutney. You can't beat the quality with lots of fruit and the right amount of spices. It's not too sweet. I find it lift the flavours of a curry, I can't eat a curry without it. I also like to use it when making coronation chicken, yum!

I adore this mango chutney. I don't really eat much curry but I find this a wonderful accompaniment to cold cooked meat and particularly pork chops. It has just the right amount of spice, a lovely gooey jammy consistency and chunks of fruit. Keeps for ages in the fridge as well. Highly recommended even if you're not a curry lover.

An Indian curry would be incomplete without a tasty mango chutney.
Sharwoods Mango Chutney is tasty, with a slightly glutinous texture and with good proportion of solid mango pieces but is very sweet without any "bite" to it.
I much prefer the chutneys from Pataks (hot) and also from Geetas although the former is much better value.
Two big disadvantages with Sharwoods is the need for a spoon with a very long handle and the angular shape of the jar and narrow neck which make it difficult to get the last scrapings.

Sharwoods definitely make the best jar of mango chutney! When I eat a good curry, I want all the accompanying bits and pieces: naan, chapati, poppadoms etc. And with these, I like my chutney and mango is my favourite. Sharwoods has the perfect fruity, authentic chutney that is simply delicious!

Mango chutney is what you need to make a hearty home made curry/ Indian meal at home, with the usual Poppadoms and naan breads. Sharwoods is a luxury Indian food brand and it never disappoints. The chutney is thick and tastes very fruity, as other reviewers mentioned, it is also delicious with all sorts of hard cheeses.

Mango Chutney is a culinary treat that you should always have in your cupboards for when you decide to make yourself a lovely curry. It goes very well just on the side or as a starter with pappadums.

Now I do a lot of Indian and Sri Lankan cookery and make pretty good chutney but I cannot match the Sharwoods Green Label Mango Chutney. It is a great taste with curry's, cold meat, cheese (especially strong flavoured) and in sandwiches and a range of dishes. It is lovely served with Paul Hollywoods very posh 'Sausage Plait' recipe from his Pies and Puds book. I do not even like fresh mango but the full but mild taste of this chutney is hard to beat.

This is a quality product full of fruit and spices just the right texture It's a great accompaniment with a curry or with cold cuts especially pork; chicken and turkey. It is not overly sweet or overpowering to the taste buds. When you buy something like this it's just not worth the bother of homemade.
