Create your own Tex-Mex masterpiece with Colmans Chilli Con Carne Sachet. This easy-to-use recipe mix is perfect for rustling up a medium-heat chilli that the whole family can tuck into.
Simply brown off your mince and onions in a pan, mix the sachet’s contents with water and add to the pan along with tomatoes and kidney beans, then bring to the boil before simmering for 20 minutes. Serve with rice (of course!).
The recipe mix contains a special blend of chilli, cumin and paprika. It is free of artificial colours, preservatives and MSG.

Hey guys, Colmans chilli con carne sachet is not that good that I have it expected to be. But you can tune it easily. Add some chilli, some garlic and some tomatoe and paprika sauce then when almost ready, you should add some cheese on it. It gives the meal a fantastic taste.

I don't often use packet mixes but they can be very useful to have in the cupboard for those days when you haven't a clue what to do for dinner.
Packet mixes are better than jars because they're basically the spices and seasoning with nothing else so they don't have that artificial taste that some products in jars tend to have.
Colmans Chili Con Carne makes a lovely thick red sauce. It is quite spicy but not too overpowering. One packet is for 400gr of mincemeat so it's enough for a meal for two people with some rice on the side.
