Must be honest i never thought of having sausages in a casserole!! sausage n mash yes sausage sarnie yes!! so i was sceptical to say the least but having followed the recipe to a tee and adding the sachet of Colmans sausage casserole sachet i must say the whole family were pleasantly surprised by the hearty tasty comforting meal that gives a great aroma as well

I rely heavily on Colmans sachets for the preparation of my meals. A winter favorite is sausage casserole. All you need is this sachet, some water, some nice pork sausages, carrots, onions, mushrooms and some mashed potatoes on the side. It is very flavorful, with a very authentic taste, and will make your family or guests very happy!

Having bought this before, I find that this is a great way to serve sausages. Depending upon the country that you live in, your choices of sausages to use might be different from what Unilever intended. Conveniently, they do list the items you need to have on hand to use the product, something others could learn from. It's great to have this on hand especially for filling meals in the winter months.
