Pataks have created a range of curry pastes which make it very easy to cook a delicious Indian style dish - most involve the addition of the meat of your choice and tinned tomatoes.
Balti is a medium hot sauce (hot, medium hot and mild can only be decided by the eater) but it is a pleasant flavour and if too hot for some palates can be softened by a yoghurt raitha.
Good value from BCS as a jar makes eight portions - for me that means seven go in the freezer for a lazy cooking-free evening.

There is so much choice here, all this products for a curry. Balti is one of the most popular and the paste is fantastic.
It is very easy to create restaurant like meal at home at the fraction of the price.
There is no take away where I live in Italy.
