Chopped onions, chopped chicken breasts, tinned tomatoes, water and a jar of paste. That is all you need to cook a delicious medium hot curry. Nothing could be simpler. With rice or naan bread. Perfect.
A jar of paste is plenty for eight portions which means I freeze seven portions and look forward to seven evenings free of cooking.

Sometimes, when time is short and you need a quick Balti fix I revert to using one of these pre made sauces. They are so quick and easy with a great taste.
The jars can also be cleaned and re-used for crafts with the kids or storing other little treats inside.
