Sacla is one of the most popular brands of pasta condiments, sauces and pickles here in Italy. They really do bring an authentic Italian flavour into your home. Sacla's basil pesto is excellent, almost as good as home made. As well as using it on pasta, try putting a spoonful into homemade soups, on pizza, in lasagna and in any baked vegetable dish such as Parmesan aubergines etc.

It is important for me to have some basic Italian products in my cupboard in order to prepare authentic Italian food at home. A good quality pesto is essential, made with real Italian basil, to make simple and delicious pasta. For best results, you should serve it with roasted pine nuts and grated parmesan cheese.
