Add flavour and colour to your home cooked dishes with a pinch of Schwartz smoked paprika. This deep red spice is made from ground sweet peppers, which have been dried over wood fires to give it a delicious smoky flavour.
Although central to Hungarian cuisines, this versatile spice is also used in Austrian, Spanish, Indian and Moroccan food. It's the perfect spice to add a little bit of heat to your dish, but it's never as hot as chilli or cayenne pepper.
Why not try combining it with a little flour and use to coat pork steaks before frying? It's also delicious sprinkled over sweet potato fries or vegetables before roasting.

Received our rather large box of goodies this morning to France. We ordered four lots of Schwartz Paprika Smoked, as you can not get it in France, so thought we should stock up !! Sprinkled over some chicken pieces and chucked onto the barbecue is lovely, can not wait to use it !!

I can't get smoked paprika in France, so I always stock up on it when shopping at BCS. It adds a lot of taste compared to the mild paprika we can get over here, which doesn't really taste of much. Good for adding a rich and smoky taste to beef stews and casseroles.

I find that with spices and herbs the brand doesn't matter as they are always good. I do buy Schwartz's as well as shop brands. You don't need to use much to get a decent flavour. I enjoy paprika best when it's coated on sauté potatoes - it really enhances the taste - also adding some onion or garlic powder makes it even tastier.

Schwartz Paprika Smoked will give great flavour to many kinds of foods. In many European countries, you won't be able to find smoked paprika among spices, there's only this plain paprika spice.
Therefore I am glad I found smoked paprika at BCS so I will be able to use it in my cooking.
