A step up from Schwartz’s regular chilli con carne recipe sachet, this Hot Chilli Con Carne Mix is for those who like their chilli extra hot! Cumin and chilli powder combine to bring that authentic Tex-Mex taste to your kitchen.
To cook up your super-hot chilli con carne, brown off some mince in a pan and add the sachet’s contents along with water, tomatoes and the essential kidney beans. Bring to the boil and then simmer for 20 minutes.
You’re then ready to serve up a hot and spicy chilli con carne, ideally with rice and perhaps some garlic bread on the side!

I am not a fan of chilli con carne but I decided to give this a try. I must say this is better than what I have tried before and the added chilli gave a better flavor. If you really want to enjoy a good chilli con carne then you also have to make sure to add up all the necessary ingredients and not just the ground meat.

My first taste of the chilli con carne dish left me a bit disappointed for a few minutes - that is until the after-taste kicked in, when the chillies gave me a delicious tingling hot taste.
Easy to make with minced beef, tinned kidney beans and tinned tomatoes.

This Hot version of Chilli Con Carne is much better than the normal version. The spiciness of it appeals to me although not to the rest of the family so I often find myself making two separate dishes. This 'hot' version is not available in the country I reside in as they are not big fans of spicy food!

Chilli corn carne is an easy and cheap dish to make and Schwartz hot chilli mix is the compulsory ingredient to make it perfect. Just add some mince - I like to add a dash of Worcester Sauce to it as well, some sliced peppers, sliced onions, kidney beans, serve with white rice and enjoy! It like my chilli spicy and this mix didn't disappoint me.
