Wilkin and Sons black cherry conserve is a wonderful fruity conserve that is definitely not on the sweet side but is jam - sorry - packed with very large pieces of tart black cherries that make this a very good conserve to have not only on toast but with crumpets muffins anything toasted that will enhance the cherry flavour even more!! try some and see

An excellent black cherry conserve in the Tiptree range from Wilkin and Sons Ltd. High sugar content including natural sugars from the cherries, but does not taste overly sweet. Thick and rich with some nearly whole cherries. Lots of lovely cherry flavour throughout. Will buy again.

This cherry jam has a lovely smooth flavour with no bitterness or sourness that some cherry products can have. It is also not too sweet, but due to this subtle flavour, it does need to be spread fairly thick for the taste to come through. The texture is excellent with no lumps or clumps, and this makes it easy to spread. The packaging is very nice and the jars would make a nice addition to a gift hamper.
