Absolutely delicious for baking rich cakes such as fruit cake, Christmas cake and oatmeal bars. This unrefined sugar gives your baking a whole new amazing flavour. It is rich and dark and, if you leave it open for a decent length of time and then every now and then break it up as it hardens, you'll have home made "toffee" without having to work hard at it. A little hard crunchy piece will satisfy the toffee cravings you might have and definitely take care of your sweet tooth, at the same time.

This is the perfect sugar for my baking needs. The flavour is superb. I have not been able to find Muscovado sugar in Italy and am very happy to be able to have it delivered to my door by BCS. My creme brulees now have the correct topping again, thanks!
