I loved the details listed about this bread. I do try to eat Organic items whenever possible. When my bread arrived, I got a wee surprise at first at its' composition. It's not sliced vertically but horizontally. The slices are fairly thin which works just fine. You can cut a long slice in half to make a nice two piece pair for a sandwich. I agree with the other Reviewer that this is lovely toasted with butter,etc. I made yummy toast, sandwiches with it. Good thing to know is it's got about eleven grams of Fibre per slice. Some folks' stomachs might not be used to that. But it's grand if you're trying to find good way to attain your daily amount of Fibre. Just count it with your total so you don't overdo. This bread has a bit of a sweet, perhaps honeymolasses flavor in the first couple bites per slice. That's quite nice. Then, it does have a bit of a chew to it. Nothing too strenuous but just so you know, it's not like, meltinyourmouth texture. Sort of a Health Food tasting bread. The nuts are a lovely addition. But I love all nuts in everything. Since it's Organic and takes several days in the shipping process, I suggest one take out one to two pieces and put the rest in Freezer to use as needed. I did get a bit of mold on mine after leaving on my counter and simply cut it off and put rest in Freezer to use later. That works fine.

This is my favourite of the Biona breads.The texture is slightly moist and it does not break up like the others tend to do because of the pumpkin content. Really delicious toasted with a quality butter or favourite jam for your breakfast or sandwich on the go. I really like this bread. First of all, it is healthy and second, it is amazing for the sandwich.
