Crawfords Garibaldi Biscuits are a British classic consisting of two crispy, golden layers of biscuit with currants squashed in between. Perfect in tandem with a cup of tea!

I remember these from childhood and was always teased into believing they were flies not currants in the biscuit!! fortunately I'm not that gullible and Crawfords garibaldi biscuits are still part of my diet to this day a very crisp biscuit with nice firm currants added to give perfect taste and texture also when alone i end up dunking this little gem!! great taste

I mostly order these for my neighbour, who lived in London years ago and misses the biscuits, but we sometimes eat them ourselves too, and they are very good. Particularly nice with tea, and they seem a bit more like real food than some of our other snack options. There are some similar ones here with raisins, although they're old fashioned and not easy to find, but the black currants really elevate them.

A true fruity treat, perfect with a cup of tea. I remember these from when I was a child and they are still as delicious as I remember them. A crispy biscuit with squashed tasty currants inside, just perfect for dipping in your hot tea or eating on their own. Crawfords Garibaldi biscuits, are one of the best and great value too.

One of the only fruity biscuits that I love: A true treat that I can't wait to get my teeth into every time a British Corner Shop parcel arrives. Smell, texture and taste take me back to my childhood! A delight that I now share with all of my children.

We have always loved squashed fly biscuits! The only problem is there's not enough in the packet! They're gone too quick. They are the perfect biscuit with a cup of tea - not too sweet and nice and crunchy.

I remember these biscuits fondly, and I'm pleased that I'm able to buy them again. They are a great afternoon treat with a cup of tea, and don't feel as naughty as a chocolate biscuit! I love the fruit which gives the biscuit a nice chew. Thankfully my other half doesn't like currants or raisins, so I get the packet to myself!

Crawfords Garibaldi Biscuits are a perfect tea time treat. I have memories of these at many a family gathering. I pack these in my children's lunch as yummy little treat. I love one with a cup of tea. They love the crunchy biscuit and I love that they aren't too sweet.
Constanza from Chile
The biscuits arrived in perfect condition, which is surprising considering the long way from the UK to Chile. They taste really good and they're perfect with a cup of tea. They're crisp without being too crunchy to be annoying, the currants are soft and tasty. Overall a great product, I'm glad I ordered 2. Next time I'll buy more though!
Eileen from Canada
These biscuits are so unique, the currants are plentiful and have been a favourite of mine since I was a very young girl.
As a child I could never remember the name Garibaldi, much to my mums annoyance I would refer to them as 'fly cemeteries'. It never stopped her from allowing me to have one however and to this day I still have a mental block with the name. Worth a try, they are so wonderful.
Mariantonia from Italy
It's quite amazing the number of years that this biscuit has been on the market but it's not surprising that it is still a UK favourite. We Brits do love our dried fruit and biscuits so it is the perfect combination. I notice that over the years, the recipe must have changed slightly as the biscuit is drier. Also, I'm sure there were more currants inside the biscuits before. However, still a nice biscuit to snack on.
Maria Teresa from Italy
Very crisp, tasty biscuit perhaps one of Crawford's best. Very thin crisp biscuit encloses a rich fruit filling. The biscuit on the whole is quite chewy because of the currants on the inside. I can taste a slight hint of mixed spice in there too. I like the way you have to snap one biscuit off the rest in the pack, by folding down on the 'dotted' line. Excellent value for money.
Bruna from Italy
Not as nice as I remember but a lot of time had passed before I tasted them again recently. There is a good quantity of dried fruit squashed into the center of the biscuit, which is golden and very crisp. The currants are sweet enough to sweeten the otherwise plain tasting biscuit and the two flavours go together very well. A classic favourite, there is nothing else quite like it on the market. Definitely worth the money.
