Tinned grapefruit is pretty hard to find abroad. Most people just ask why? when you say you're looking for them.I was excited to order these, but when I opened them and tasted them, it was pretty terrible. These grapefruits are pretty tough, and the juice that they are in is not pure grapefruit juice. It's grapefruit from concentrate mixed with apple juice. Big disappointment, and there're no alternatives on the site!

I usually prefer fresh or frozen fruit but some types of canned fruit are delicious, such as pineapple rings,peach or apricots,but canned grapefruit really do not taste nice at all. I was disappointed as Princes is a brand I regularly buy, but all freshness and taste was removed from this product.

It has become increasingly difficult to find tinned grapefruit in Canada, I was told in the supermarket recently that I should go to the produce section. I explained that I wanted it in a tin and was promptly asked "why". I explained that I did not like peeling it, removing the pith and seeds and further more I prefer the taste from a tin, he looked confused and told me he had never heard of it.
I did find it in a specialty store (expensive) and so was thrilled to find that you sell this product, thank you.
I like to incorporate it into a fresh fruit salad in the summer and so shall now look forward to doing so.

What could be more refreshing on a hot summer evening than a starter of chilled grapefruit cocktail? But who wants to be bothered with peeling fresh grapefruits, removing the pith and trying to keep the segments whole? I use Princes Grapefruit, chilled in the fridge beforehand, decorated with a sprig of fresh mint and a maraschino cherry. Looks great, tastes great, and doesn't add many calories to your menu.
