Sarwoods hoisin sauce was eagerly awaited for our delivery and we were not disappointed we used it with slices of duck mixed together wither a vegetable stir fry!! i must say we as a family enjoyed it thoroughly no spicy hot but adds a delicate taste to the food and certainly adds flavour to a quick and tasty meal very enjoyable and will be buying it again

Hoisin sauce is a great addition to any oriental style meal. I like to, use it with poultry, fish but goes best with some duck. The sauce is thick, sweet, and slightly tangy. Certainly very flavorful indeed. It is a good idea to let your meat or fish marinade in the refrigerator for several hours as the flavors are intensified. Add some veggies for some crunch and cook to give you a scrumptious, hearty meal.

Sharwoods Hoisin sauce is something everyone should keep in their store cupboard. When you get fed up cooking the same old meals day in day out, you can get a bottle of this and add it to just about anything. Our favourite is using it with duck, marinate it with the Hoisin and chuck it on the bbq Mmm, I can almost taste it now !!

Yesterday I did not know what to cook as I was getting sick of the usual mince and tatties or spaghetti bolognaise so decided to buy some duck and make some duck in Hoisin sauce. I let the duck marinate in it, with soy sauce, then fried it with added sauce, peppers and spring onions.
