This is a great product if you are looking for convenience, it is sweet, of course, it's icing it's suppose to be sweet but it goes onto the cake very easily and spreads well. It keeps well in the fridge for a few days once it's open so you don't have to use it all at the same time which is good because a thin-ish layer is enough to get a lovely sweet creamy finish to your cakes.

I love Betty Crocker Vanilla Buttercream Icing. Its easy to use and it tastes so good. This is the best Vanilla icing I have ever tasted and i will order more as the whole family couldn't stop eating it.

Betty Crocker Vanilla Buttercream Icing is an example of too much of a good thing. It is not only sweet - as any good icing is- it is absolutely sickly sweet. My sister enjoys it but then she has a massive sweet tooth. When I make a cake I prefer home-made icing.
