I used to use this sauce mix to make black bean chicken with noodles for my wife when we lived in UK. As soon as I saw this on BCS I had to order some. Just like I remember it is a delicious, a mix of the black bean and soya that gives it a rich flavour. The sauce is thick and mixes very well with chicken and stir fry vegetables. A great tasting sauce but you do need a couple of sachets for a meal for two. Great option for those who miss our loved UK favourites.

Big fan of this product. Not only does it taste delicious, both with chicken and beef but it is also the perfect amount for 2 people. I definitely recommend this product to others for that taste of Chinese food from home.

I find it difficult to define precisely the flavour of Canton Black Bean Sauce. Sweet and sour or lemon are easy to describe but this one not so. It is smooth, tasty, with a slight hint of sharpness and plenty of the taste of soya sauce.
I would classify it as one of one favourites from the extensive Blue Dragon range. Stir fry chicken or other meat with some red and green peppers (to add some colour) and within a minute or three you have a delicious dish to serve with rice or noodles.

This is a staple and I often grab some stir fry sauce and maybe chicken and veggies or shrimp or another kind of protein to make a quick and easy dinner. This is great for busy weeknights when you want to throw together something hearty and tasty. Try it over egg noodles or white rice.

Not too impressed with the flavour of Blue Dragon Canton Black Bean Stir Fry Sauce, but on the whole it wasn't too bad. To me, it just tasted of soy sauce and meat extract. Having said that, I don't really know what black beans are meant to taste like anyway. It was, however, handy and easy to use.
