I love these bakewell slices. They are a perfect treat after a long working day with a cup of tea or as a pick me up. They are packed in sets of two which.is perfect otherwise I would probably eat the whole pack.

I think these little slices are perfect size. So nice that they are packed two and two because I could never eat more than 12, they are very sweet. The taste: Very sweet and with a nice almond taste. The jam is also sweet, I would have prefered them a bit less sweet but it is still very nice. They are soft and pleasant with excellent topping. The swirls on the tip are chocolate, makes them look extra nice. I will buy again

Mr. Kipling Bakewell Slices bring memories of childhood rushing back. I attended a very small school with only sixty students. (It was designed for children with physical disabilities, I have cerebral palsy). We had the most wonderful cook who made Bakewell tart, among other delights, I always had seconds.
Mr. Kipling's slices are very much like that much loved school favourite. A truly lovely indulgence. The jam in the centre is particularly nice, just finishes it off, so to speak.

Yesterday I was offered a box of Mr Kipling bakewell slices and this is the best gift I have received in a while! Don't get me wrong, the bakewell pies are delicious but there is just something different about the slices, they are softer and the icing on the top is thicker. Ideally packed in 2 bars per plastic container.
