Mr Kipling is known to make exceedingly good cakes. The Manor House Cake is a delicious fruit cake with plump, juicy sultanas and the cake itself is beautifully moist. With every bite comes a piece of fruit and that is what makes this particular cake high quality. It is fairly pricey, but indulging once in a while won't hurt you. Keeping a great quality cake in your pantry is a must in every household.

Yes, Mr Kipling does make very good cakes. This a very traditional sponge and fruit cake. It is very simple presentation and the cake is splendid quality with just the right moisture. It is a little more expensive but worth the money for a nice treat every now and then.

If you wish to do so you can freeze this cake, when it has once again reached room temperature you cannot tell it was ever frozen.
