I'm a real fan of Princess products, I remember having them as a child, we've always been very happy with everything we have tried. I like to have a selection of products in the cupboard that can be used to make a quick meal, for those nights when you really don't want to go to too much trouble but want something tasty. This is one of their products that I hadn't tried and it wouldn't be something I would normally buy. We all really enjoyed it very much. It had a delicious meaty flavour and texture with a lovely rich onion gravy, saying that there wasn't an over powering taste of onion which you can get. Looking at other reviews its given me some ideas. It's going to make a super quick Cottage pie, when there's nothing prepared or for when you have unexpected people for tea.One thing that did surprise me was the meat content, only 34 beef. From the rich flavour none of us thought that this could possibly be true, we all felt there was a lot more in it, so we will definitely be having it again, it just shows you don't need as much meat as you think. Wonderful product.

When I first got this a few months ago it was excellent, now I see it has been watered down too much gravy and not enough meat.

This minced beef and onion is a great short cut for many great meal creations. I like to use it to make a shepherds pie or meat pies. The meat is in a wonderful gravy and it tastes just like homemade.
With the addition of beans and chilli powder it also makes a great chilli.

Easy peasy lemon squeezy! A tin of this and mashed potatoes from the tub. It took 10 min to prepare dinner. It is very good to have food for emergency cooking as I call it - when there is nothing in the house. It can happen to anyone- so stock up.
