We love pretty much all Warburton's products, but this is our favorite of their white bread. American packaged bread is very sweet, and no one in the house likes it, so we're happy to get this. There's a shop a few miles away that stocks some Irish bread brands, but we can't always get there, and they keep it in the freezer, so while it's good, it's not quite the same as an actual fresh loaf much of what I order will go in my giant deep freeze, but we usually eat some when it arrives.

It's been a while since enjoying some proper bread and the Warburtons farmhouse bread really hit the spot. I was a bit disappointed to receive my delivery on the same day as the best before date but the bread was still very soft and enjoyable. I appreciated the way the bread was packaged inside a separate box so was delivered in perfect condition.

As a rule, I love Warburtons bread. But this loaf was a disappointment. Perhaps because I received on its best before date, perhaps because the slices seemed small and rather mean and the texture was surprisingly dry. Nonetheless a most welcome envelope for good ham and mustard and thus a taste of home. French sliced bread is unpleasantly and most curiously sweet - quite a shock to discover and thus a clear reason to try to source a supply of reputable English bread - Warburtons.

Reading those reviews above makes me want to run home for a sandwich. When I get my British Corner Shop delivery there is always WARBURTONS in it. We all have sandwiches for dinner for 2 nights, if it lasts that long... Word gets out we have a Warburtons delivery & people just appear in the kitchen!!!! Bread is one of the big things I miss about home and Warburtons is what we always had so brilliant that British Corner Shop stocks it

This bread has both a great flavour and texture it is perfect for sandwiches. Warburtons bread is a consistently lovely bread. I generally put my loaf in the freezer and only remove what I need for my sandwich.
My all time favourite sandwich with this farmhouse bread is Black Forest ham and mustard with pickled onions on the side.

Warburtons have a white and a brown version of Farmhouse Bread. Both are delicious and should definitely be sampled.
I really like this soft white version as it is so soft in your mouth that it is great when eaten with Ham and fresh Lettuce. The contrast is brilliant. Even the thought of it is making me want to make a sandwich right now.
